To all those artistically inclined, it is again the time for us to gather. Looking back at the time when DTD just established, to the day we successfully organized the first music and arts festival,, whereby the creative and the independent musicians unite; a jumping group photo full of motion, captured the attention of sub-culture amateurs to come forth and create our very own energetic moment together! May is the month to eulogize labourers and DTD will once again dedicate our heart and souls in gathering all forces to unleash our creative genes.
Dongtaidu music festival + Creative mart 2009
For this particular music festival, 4 small stages will be set up for bands with distinctive styles to present their own unique number. Around the musical scene, we will set up a creativity arena, gathering over 40 creative stall owners to fill the scene with air of eccentricity and the extraordinary. This creative flea market will focus mainly on creative TEE. If you want to reflect more of your ideas onto Tee, DTD creative flea market is the place for your individuality to shine! Abundant programmes including freestyle Cat Walk Show will also take place!

Festival side attractions – Creative Arts Stalls
As long as you have creativity and would like to express it through TEE designs, you are wanted! (Of course, if you have other creative products in mind, we would welcome you nonetheless, but priority will be given to TEE designers!) A rental fee of RM40 for 2 entries. Table and chairs will be provided, while the stall owners will have to prepare their own stall equipments such as clothe hangers and small closets etc. (R.Form)

Promotion
We will arrange 1 Pre mini gigs at MCPA on 22nd March to allow more bands to be involved and also as a warm-up leading towards the actual music festival.On the internet, we will call for designers to sign up and participate in the creative flea market activity, promoting the event by having free tickets contest .Promotion will also be done through print media such as the major Chinese and English newspapers, trend and fashion magazines and all major blogs etc, as well as our weekly radio show on AI FM (89.3) and not forgetting DTD’s blog; the Malaysia’s most comprehensive independent music blog will be our central base.
Promotional video clip
A fusion of different media’s production technique will also be adopted to generate more opportunities for creative personnel to work together. 3 parts “Stop Motion” promo video expressing the spirits and unlimited thrills and excitements of the festival. Circulating mainly on the internet and will also be shown during the sharing and forum/blog session at the event itself. Masterpieces of fellow artists will have the chance to appear in the short clip as a sneak preview for the mass audiences.
